Candidates with background and expertise in the intersections of sport and the natural/built environment, event planning and marketing, and recreation planning are highly desirable.

Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor of Parks, Recreation, Sport, and Tourism – University of Missouri

The successful candidate is expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses related to Parks, Recreation, Sport, and Tourism (PRST). Primary responsibilities will include organizing and teaching four courses per semester in both spring and fall semesters (a total of 8 courses per year). The successful candidate will teach courses such as Sport Tourism, Sport Management, Global Sport Environments, Business of Sport and Recreation, Sport and Recreation Marketing, Trends in Sport and Recreation, along with advising and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students. Durham Sports Commission Internship Program

The Durham Sports Commission Internship Program offers academic credit, and we are willing to work with our interns to meet their specific credit needs. Please submit your application by the following deadlines for the season in which you are applying for the internship:

The NC State Athletics Ticket Office is a division of the Athletic Department at NC State University and is responsible for all ticket operations at sporting events hosted by NC State Athletics. Ticket operations include the following sports: football, men’s and women’s basketball, volleyball, baseball, softball, wrestling, and gymnastics. Ticket Office employees will be responsible for providing assistance to the ticket office and its customers on game days.
