New Tool to Reassure Sellers that Minnesota Housing Funds Are Available
To reassure sellers that Minnesota Housing homebuyer programs are available, we have created an Open for Business Letter that we would encourage you to pass along to your real estate partners for their use when presenting a purchase offer. The letter explains that Minnesota Housing has continuously served Minnesotans during the best and the most challenging economic environments and that all Minnesota Housing homeownership programs are available, including downpayment and closing costs loans.
On May 5, 2020 U.S. Bank Home Mortgage—HFA Division released SEL-2020-037 - May 5 Attestation announcing a new requirement that all loans closed after May 13, 2020 have a COVID-19 attestation signed by the borrower. Then on May 22, 2020 in SEL-2020-044-Multiple Topics U.S. Bank announced updates to its COVID-19 Attestation form and required language.
For your convenience, we have added U.S. Bank’s updated COVID-19 Attestation form to our Forms Guide and Glossary (in the Additional Resources section).
