Pirate Tip of the Week: Build Your âTwo-Minute Networkâ đ
You donât need a long meeting to start building meaningful connections on campus. This week, challenge yourself to start one short conversation with someone newâa professor after class, a staff member at an office you visit, or a classmate you havenât spoken with yet.
Small interactions can lead to big opportunities.
- Introduce yourself and ask one thoughtful question.
- Follow up with a quick thank-you or LinkedIn connection.
- Keep track of people you meetâyouâre building your campus network.
Many opportunities begin with simple conversations. Taking just two minutes to connect can open doors you didnât expect.
