Streamlined Format for Annual Lender Renewals
It's time to start the annual lender renewal process for the Fix Up loan program. This is our chance to confirm your participation in the program and update important contact information.
New Online Form
This year the renewal process will be completed through a simple online form.
The main contact person for each Fix Up lender will receive an email with the link next week. The renewal form is due on February 12.
Restart Your Fix Up Production
As we mentioned last year, we are reinstating a lender renewal fee. This fee will only apply to lenders who have not originated a Fix Up loan in the last two years. These lenders have two options:

  1. Continue offering the program with additional support from Minnesota Housing and pay a $250 renewal fee. When you pay the fee, you'll receive training and technical assistance to improve understanding and your capacity to originate loans. You can also receive a marketing package to improve outreach in your communities.
  2. Decline to pay the fee and discontinue offering the program. If you change your mind later, that's okay! We will follow up periodically with the opportunity to re-apply to become a Fix Up lender.
