| Transforming KU's Cybersecurity Environment |
In recognition of Cybersecurity Awareness month, we want to highlight KU IT's 2025 Strategic Plan and a small piece of their work to transform KU's cybersecurity environment.
IT recently completed its "MFA for Students" project to increase the number of individuals using multi-factor authentication (MFA). Over 28,000 students and 8,000 faculty and staff now use Duo MFA, reducing compromised accounts by over 50% and decreased phishing messages.
