On July 1, Bishop Richard F. Stika will become the longest-serving bishop in the history of the Diocese of Knoxville. Now in his 10th year as the leader of the Catholic Church in East Tennessee, Bishop Stika has led the diocese during a time of tremendous growth and stability. LaFollette Pregnancy Help Center to host open house
The LaFollette Press recently featured Catholic Charities of East Tennessee's Pregnancy Help Center in Lafollette, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. The pregnancy help center will hold an open house on July 9 from 1 to 6 p.m. so that the community can learn more about the center's services.
Parishes celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi
Parishes around the Diocese of Knoxville celebrated the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, also known as the Feast of Corpus Christi, on Sunday, June 23. Processions were held at a number of parishes including St. Thomas the Apostle in Lenoir City, with Father Julian Cardona and Father Ray Powell, pastor (left photo); and at St. Henry Church in Rogersville with Father Bart Okere, pastor (right photo).

Dr. Tom Neal was a speaker at the March 2019 Call to Love Marriage Conference sponsored by the Diocese of Knoxville's Office of Marriage Preparation and Enrichment.
