We’re thrilled Upward Soccer ministry is starting again – with proper health safety measures. Invite your neighbors or kid’s school friends to participate. This program is all about learning the game, good sportsmanship and the Good News about Jesus!
...when I listened to this message and I hope you’ll take time to listen. Although it’s a different Scripture, it directly applies to what we’ll study this Sunday. I believe it’s valuable for you to hear a younger pastor teaching, too. Levi Lusko has not walked an easy road. Most recently, his family lost one of their children. Here’s a direct link to their church’s sermon channel but audio versions are ready for your commute or daily walk on Apple, Spotify, Stitcher, etc.
3. Quarterly Church Business Meeting
Our regularly scheduled church business meeting will be next Wednesday, Feb. 3rd @ 6:30pm in Founder’s Hall (nothing out of the ordinary – that I know of🙂 - will be presented).
Every Blessing In Christ,
Larry
PS: How are you doing with your part of our FTW (Faith That Works) series? Our challenge: read aloud the entire letter of 1 Thessalonians three times a week. Layer by layer God’s truths will affect your daily life.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Gloria's memory to Deermeadows Baptist Church - Global Missions
(For those unable to attend on-campus, service will be available on deermeadows.org/livestream on Sunday evening.)
Staff Changes for 2021 The year 2020 brought challenges and opportunities for us all. COVID shut-downs and the departure of Mark and Sarah Groves gave the church staff the opportunity to re-evaluate staffing and alignment with Deermeadows’ Values: Worship Authentically ~ Grow Spiritually ~ Connect Relationally ~ Serve Purposefully
Can't be on campus Sunday mornings? Don't worry! We've got you covered! View the service live on Sunday mornings or later in the week on Deermeadows Facebook Page!
The student ministry will travel to Mobile, Alabama to serve those that were affected by the 2020 hurricane season. This event is open to students 6th-12th (College, parents, and leaders).
