Free Nordic Waxing Clinic Dec 2nd, 6-8pm

Do you want to learn how to wax your Nordic skis? We are hosting a hands on waxing clinic here at the shop on December 2nd from 6-8 pm. Bring a pair of your skate, classic or touring skis and we will show you the proper technique. You can then use our gear to try it yourself! Top ski techs from the Bridger Ski Foundation, Crosscut Mountain Sports Center and Toko will be here to guide you. Pre-registration is required if you want to get your hands waxy. No need to register if you just want to observe.

RIDING SEASON ISN'T OVER YET...OR EVER!

EXTEND YOUR RIDING SEASON WITH A FATBIKE!

Roads and mountain bike trails may be too snowy to ride...with your summer equipment. Retrofit your commuter bike with fenders and studded tires or ride mountain bike trails all winter on a fatbike! Studded tires actually work; they allow you to ride your bike as you normally would, on ice and in snow!

NIGHT / WINTER RIDING PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT :

We encourage you to stay out there riding your bikes, but we wanted to emphasize rider and driver safety. We have already seen two cyclists hit by cars so far this season and we definitely don't want to see any more.

Use front and rear lights! MSU students can get them for free in the office of sustainability
Ride predictably and defensively. Don't assume the driver sees you or knows what you will do
Always wear a helmet, especially when the risk of a fall is elevated like at night or in the winter
