Students Get An Inside Look at NASCAR Engineering |
Ahead of the recent, and first-ever, NASCAR race in San Diego, UC San Diego students got a behind-the-scenes look at a NASCAR race car on campus and learned about the engineering innovations that make these vehicles capable of topping 200 miles per hour. Students from project-based competition teams, including the Triton Racing Formula car, the Triton Solar Car and the Triton Baja off-road vehicle team also heard advice from Trackhouse Racing engineers.
