Get the Scoop on Philanthropy

On Tuesday, April 12, at 2 p.m., on the Campus Center Upper Patio, Tufts Student Giving is hosting their annual Get the Scoop on Philanthropy event to thank all student donors for their support of Tufts. Boston's famous Cookie Monstah truck will be joining us, and we hope you will, too! If you have not made a donation to Tufts this year, you can stop by the event and support April Giving, a pre-orientationfocused fundraiser, or whatever has impacted you most during your time at Tufts.

The Last Days of Basic Cable: A Night Celebrating the Art of Filmmaking

On Wednesday, April 13, at 8 p.m., please join us for a virtual event featuring a table read by Tufts students of the upcoming film production The Last Days of Basic Cable, a story set in 1999 about recent college graduates on the precipice of the new millennium, navigating romance and life in a small New England college town.
Hear from alumni screenwriters, producers, and faculty on their inspiration for the screenplay and experience across industries. This event is in memory of CJ Saraceno, A11.

Psychology of Anti-Racism Talk

Please join us on Zoom for the second annual talk in the Tufts Psychology of Anti-Racism Series on Friday, April 15, at 1:30 p.m. President Monaco will provide an introduction to the series. Our speaker is Dr. Neil Lewis Jr. of Cornell University, who studies how social interventions and policies can change behaviors to promote equitable outcomes in society. His talk is titled "What We Learn from Where We Live."

Tufts Concert for Ukraine

On Saturday, April 16, at 8 p.m., performers and volunteers from Tufts University, Berklee College, and the wider Boston community will unite together at the Tufts Concert for Ukraine in solidarity with Ukrainian people at Granoff Music Center in Distler Hall!
Joining the Concert, you will enjoy the Ukrainian traditional and contemporary songs and multidisciplinary performances of many other cultures and art forms. Together, we will demonstrate our support of Ukrainians in our community and worldwide.

Easter Brunch

On Sunday, April 17, enjoy Easter Brunch at both Carmichael and Dewick. There will be a Pancake Bar, French Toast Waffle, Carved Ham, Garlic Dijon-Glazed Pork Loin, Lamb Meatloaf, Garlicky Swiss Chard, Roast Tomato Cream Sauce Penne, Spinach Artichoke Casserole, Carrot Cheesecake, and more!

Share Your Tufts Experience

We are interviewing students on video about their experiences at Tufts for inclusion on the new Student Affairs website being launched this summer. The initial round of interviews is taking place in Alumnae Lounge on Thursday, April 14, at 8 a.m.–2 p.m. Interviews will take approximately 15 minutes.

Tufts Green Fund Application Opens

Looking for a way to improve sustainability on campus? The Green Fund provides an opportunity for students to receive funding for on-campus sustainability projects. Submit a proposal for up to $40,000 for studies or projects to take place in the upcoming academic year. Applications will open on April 15, and they are due October 1!

Academic Reminders

Registration for Fall 2022 courses begins soon. Be sure to book a meeting with your advisor as soon as possible! You must meet with your advisor prior to registration to discuss courses and have your advising hold released. To prepare for registration, you should also:
  • View your registration time in SIS and confirm you have no other holds
  • Add courses and backup options to your shopping cart
  • Validate to confirm you meet course requirements
