Members of the UTIA family gathered with UT President Randy Boyd and Chancellor Donde Plowman for a centennial celebration of historic Morgan Hall. The highlight of the event was the unveiling of the building’s 1919 time capsule and its contents, as well as the  creation of a new 2021 time capsule. 
TCE alumni Lynne Parker and Mark Dean
The National Science Foundation and the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy have announced the creation of the National Artificial Intelligence Research Resource Task Force. The group includes two UT alumni, Lynne Parker and Mark Dean. 
University of Tennessee students exhibited creativity designing floating wetlands
A unique solution meets both environmental and instructional needs for UT students. Green Infrastructure, a class offered by the UT Department of Plant Sciences in the sustainable landscape design concentration, has introduced floating wetlands to the Third Creek ecosystem as part of a capstone project.
