BASEBALL

BASEBALL SHUTS OUT MIDDIES

The Comets completed the sweep of Middletown with a 4-0 victory. Bryce Brannon and Ben Hanley combine to no-hit the Middies striking out 15 and only allowing three baserunners. Brannon started the game and threw the first 5 innings.

Ben Hanley came in and pitched the sixth and seventh to finish the victory. Offensively, Mason started hot scoring three runs in the first inning and one in the second. Alex Koelling led the offense with two hits and one RBI.

Mason (16-3, 12-1) is back in GMC action TODAY...Friday, taking on Princeton at home.

SOFTBALL DEFEATS OAK HILLS

COMETS STAY TIED WITH EAST FOR GMC LEAD

Mason Softball kept pace with GMC co-leader, Lakota East on Thursday. The Comets defeated Oak Hills 11-6 in an away game. No details of the game were provided.

Next up, Mason (12-7, 11-2) will host Lakota West in a home game TODAY, Friday 4/26. On Saturday the Comets host Lebanon at 10:00 AM for the Reds Showcase game.

BOYS TENNIS FALLS TO SYCAMORE

Mason Tennis suffered a 4-1 loss at the hands of Sycamore on Thursday. See scores below:

Singles: Bernadsky (M) def. Meyers 6-4, 6-4; Choo (S) def. Tonkal 6-4, 6-7, 11-9; Klugo (S) def. Bapat 6-0, 6-0. Doubles: Rajagopala-Wittenbaum (S) def. Dornhecker-Buckingham 6-3, 6-1; Friedrich-Kota (S) def. Kamineni-Lang 6-1, 6-7, 6-1.

Next up, Mason Tennis (7-3, 6-1) will host the annual Coaches Classic this weekend.

BOYS' VB SHUTS OUT HAMILTON

Boys Volleyball defeated Hamilton on Thursday by scores of 25-11, 25-14, 25-17. No details of the match were provided.

Mason Boys LAX defeated Sycamore on Thursday by a score of 9-2 in an away match. No details of the event were provided.
