Central RED — “The Ninth Hour: Bringing Biblical Characters to Life”
Tuesday, Feb. 7 | 11:30 a.m.
Join Central RED on Tuesday, Feb. 7, for a special luncheon presentation.
The New Testament mentions — or implies — characters whose identities are never flushed out. “The Ninth Hour” by Valerie Van Kooten looks at some of these people who surely had been influenced by — and influenced — Jesus.
Van Kooten is executive director of Pella Historical Museums. Prior to that, she taught technical writing and was Central’s grant writer. She lives west of Pella with her husband Kent. She is currently working on a children’s historical fiction book about the Indigenous people in the Pella area.
