Hoo-Rah Day officially kicks off at midnight Wednesday, April 10. Pull out your favorite Central gear, take photos, tag your friends in throwback photos using #HooRahDay and wear your Central Dutch pride for all to see.

Plus, on Hoo-Rah Day we added the Writers Reading, featuring author Neil Nakadate, at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, in the Maytag Student Center. All are welcome.

Central Trustee Harry Smith ’73 will become our newest executive-in-residence and plans to be on campus during the Fall 2024 semester. He signed off at NBC Today with a summary of his career.

PPI, Inc., will invest $50,000 to support the college in exploring curriculum around artificial intelligence, digital transformation and analytics, known as decision science.

The new Leadership Youth Summit will be June 10-11 on Central’s campus. The two-day camp is open to students who will be in grades 7-12 in the fall of 2024. Register by Wednesday, May 1.

The spring fun run tradition, now called the Central Dutch Dash, is set for 6 p.m. Friday, April 26, starting at the A.N. Kuyper Athletics Complex parking lot. It’s free and fun!

The Class of 2024 voted to continue to improve the area outside Geisler Library into a multi-purpose gathering space by adding Adirondack chairs and ottomans. Help the Class of 2024 reach the goal with a donation.
