Drop-In Advising
Need to change your Fall 2025 course schedule? Nursing advisors are available for virtual drop-in advising August 22 - August 29. The deadline to add or drop classes for the Fall 2025 semester without penalty is Friday, August 29th by 5:00 pm.
How to Use Drop-In Advising
- Click the Zoom meeting link during any of the available days and times below
- You will be added to a waiting room and seen on a first-come, first-served basis
- Advisors will have approximately 15 minutes to assist you
- Fall 2025 schedule questions only; all other inquiries should be addressed in a scheduled 1:1 appointment
Please be logged into Banner Self-Service Registration and be prepared to share your screen via Zoom if you need assistance with changing your schedule.

If you are a current Grand Valley State University student and have questions about any of the programs offered by the Kirkhof College of Nursing, please follow the instructions below to schedule a one-on-one appointment in Navigate with an Academic Advisor. Appointments are 30 minutes in length and available by phone, virtual (Zoom), or in person on the Allendale or Health campus (located downtown Grand Rapids).
