The UTHSC Advisory Board will meet Friday, August 11, at 10:00 am, in the Mooney Building Library, Room 201, on the Memphis campus. The meeting will be held in person and will also be available to view via webcast. The webcast link will be posted on the board’s website.

Got Civility? Lecture Series
|
August is National Civility Month, recognizing the importance of civil behavior. The Got Civility? Lecture Series aims to promote civility and civil discourse throughout the UTHSC community. The next lecture is set for Wednesday, August 9, from 12:00 – 1:00 pm, in Freeman Auditorium in the 930 Madison Building.

| Research Impact Challenge
|
The Research Impact Challenge consists of five days of virtual, asynchronous activities to help you better understand and manage your online scholarly presence and the impact and reach of your research. New and seasoned researchers alike are invited to take up the challenge next week, August 7-11.

Lichterman Award Nominations
|
Nominations for the Lichterman Award are open now through August 18. Full-time, non-exempt UTHSC or University Clinical Health employees with at least three years of service at UTHSC are eligible. The award honors an employee who demonstrates a high standard of work and a dedication to enthusiastic service.

The Office of Inclusion, Equity, and Diversity will host Candor, Dialogue, and Observation Sessions via Zoom on the first Friday of each month, and in person on the last Friday of each month, throughout the 2023-24 school year. A Zoom session on Friday, August 11, at 8:15 am, will focus on Divisive Concepts.
