MavEngage wins student experience award

UTA received a 2025 Anthology Catalyst Award in the Student Experience category for its innovative use of technology to advance student success and institutional excellence. The award was given for MavEngage and MavEngage Mobile, UTA’s platforms for all things student engagement. The platform showcases 300-plus student organizations, manages membership rosters, and promotes events and involvement opportunities around campus. Students, faculty, and staff can easily connect with other Mavericks and access the full range of engagement experiences in one place. Read more in the News Center.

Fifteen minutes to help guide the future

Calling all summer bachelor's and master's graduates, we need you to complete the Graduate Exit Survey, available through Aug. 31. The survey focuses on:

  • Your overall satisfaction with the services and opportunities provided by UTA, its colleges and programs, and what can be improved.
  • Your sense of preparedness and plans for employment and education after graduation.

The survey takes 15 minutes to complete and gives you the opportunity to have an impact on UTA's future. Look for an invitation from gradteam@uta.edu or find the survey in Canvas.

UTA alumnus delivers top junior golf event to Dallas

The country’s premier junior golf championship is coming to Dallas the week of July 21—thanks in part to UTA alumna Fred Perpall, president of the United States Golf Association (USGA). Fred earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture from UTA. As he closes out his three-year term as USGA president, he’s helping bring the 2025 U.S. Junior Amateur Championship to Trinity Forest Golf Club. Perpall is a founding member of the club, and The Beck Group—the architecture and construction firm he leads as CEO—built its clubhouse. That connection helped pave the way for his involvement with the USGA. Read more about Fred and how UTA played a role in his success in business and golf.
