Join Westminster City Council for the Second Annual Budget Town Hall

Please join Mayor Nancy McNally and the Westminster City Council for the second annual Budget Town Hall on Thursday, April 3 at City Park Recreation Center (10455 Sheridan Blvd.). This year's event will be focused on firefighting and roadway infrastructure, and it will be our most interactive town hall yet with many family-friendly activities!

Food, refreshments, and childcare (3M-11Y) will be provided.

Beginning at 5:30 pm, the community can visit educational displays and check out fire vehicles, work trucks, and activities for families and kids of all ages. The town hall will run from 6 pm to 8 pm.

Pothole Palooza Returns for 2025

Ready, set, report! Pothole Palooza, a marathon week to fix as many potholes as possible in our community, is returning in April. Our streets team will hit the roads from April 14-17 to fill in as many potholes on public roads as residents can report. Last year, we filled in over 3,000 potholes. Let's beat that number this year!

CONSTRUCTION UPDATES

CDOT Repaving Federal Boulevard

Earlier this week, the City was made aware that CDOT will begin repaving Federal Boulevard from 92nd Avenue to I-70. Work will start Thursday, March 20, and is expected to continue until November. CDOT expects to have crews working both day and night to complete this project as quickly and safely as possible. Meadow View Estates Waterline Project

Westminster utility crews are installing a new waterline to improve service and reliability for the Meadow View Estates, located immediately north of Westminster Hills Open Space.  Crews will establish a worksite in the far northeast corner of Westminster Hills for approximately eight weeks. Please be mindful of walking pets near the area during construction. Learn more.

Westminster Hills Open Space Update

Dogs are now prohibited on the far western side of Westminster Hills Open Space. Please note that the 470-acre WHOS Dog Off-Leash Area remains open and unaffected by this update. Signs marking the new area are on site to guide visitors. This designation was approved by City Council in 2024 after extensive community input and engagement. Thank you for your understanding and support in helping protect the beauty and wildlife of our community. Learn more.
