Activity Fair Day and Maverick Cookout is your chance to connect with UTA student organizations, departments, and community agencies. You will gain information on their services, interests, and involvement opportunities within the campus community.
Join your fellow new and returning Mavericks and get involved! The activity fair and cookout takes place Wednesday, Aug. 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Brazos Park, UC Mall, and Library Mall. Free food will be provided.

Welcome to campus, global Mavericks
|
The Global Maverick Welcome event is an opportunity for international students to meet current UTA students, student organizations, resource offices, and departments as part of the Maverick Stampede welcome events. Connect with your fellow Mavericks Wednesday, Aug. 20, from 3-5:30 p.m. for free food and activities in the Rio Grande Ballroom.
Arlington Public Libraries and representatives from the Texas Department of Public Safety and Academic Health plans will be available to answer students' questions about the UT SHIP insurance plan and how to apply for a Texas Driver License and Identification Card.

Get a move on, Rec Fest is today
|
Come get active with your fellow Mavericks and experience everything that Campus Recreation has to offer at Rec Fest!
Enjoy activities, prizes, and sweet treats. There will be group exercise class demos, sport club info tables, outdoor games, tie-dying stations, and more! The event takes place today from 6-8 p.m. at the Mavericks Activities Center. Rec Fest is free and open to all UTA students, faculty, and staff.

Looking for a job? Stop at the UTA Fall 2025 Student Employment Job Fair. The fair takes place at the Rio Grande Ballroom Thursday, Aug. 21 from 12-3 p.m. The job fair is open to all students seeking on-campus positions, both work study and non-work study, and off-campus work-study positions.
Attending the Student Employment Job Fair allows you to meet with on-campus departments and off-campus work-study employers, discover new opportunities, and make an impression on prospective employers.
