INDIGENOUS PEOPLE'S DAY

Indigenous People's Day, is celebrated to honor the rich history, culture, and contributions of Native American communities. Vermont recognizes the indigenous peoples who originally inhabited the region, particularly the Abenaki. Events often include cultural presentations, educational discussions, traditional music, and storytelling, providing an opportunity for both residents and visitors to learn about indigenous heritage and history. The day encourages reflection on the historical impact of colonization and celebrates the resilience and vibrant cultures of indigenous peoples today.

The Alpine Clubhouse will host a special IPD dinner on both Saturday, October 12th and Sunday, October 13th of Indigenous People's Weekend. Reserve HERE.

End of Season Sale

The season is coming to an end and both of our golf shops still have nice selections from your favorite brands. This is a great time to think about the golfers on your holiday shopping lists and to put your tournament winnings on your credit book to good use.  Stowe CC has a great selection of clubs, and we are pricing everything to move.  Now is the time to grab that Scotty Cameron putter or Callaway Ai Smoke driver that can bring your game to the next level.  Swing by the shops to take a look or email Dan Ruane if you are out of town and looking for something specific.

End of the Season Tournament at SCC

We've put on our creativity hats and come up with a fun end of the season event at Stowe Country Club. This will be your last chance to play the back nine before the renovation next spring, so plan on playing and saying a fond farewell.

The format is a 4-person scramble with a twist, or should we say a spinning wheel? Every hole will have a theme whereby each team spins a wheel to select their fate. Some fun, some beneficial and some just down right mean. It's all for fun! We hope to see you. Space is limited.
