Have you completed the Miami Climate Survey?
Join the Office of Institutional Diversity and Inclusion to celebrate the Campus Climate Survey on Thursday, February 9 from 12:30 - 2:00 pm in the International Student Center (MacMillan 017).
There will be food, survey information and you will be able to take the survey on-site if you haven't already.
Help us understand the perceptions and experiences of students, faculty and staff, evaluate progress on climate issues, and identify next steps for Miami. Also, after completing the survey, you will be directed to another webpage to be entered into the weekly incentive program.

Apply for a Social Security Number if you have a job!
A Social Security number (SSN) is a nine-digit number used to report your wages to the government and is used on some U.S. tax forms. Please note that any international student who was present in the U.S. for part of 2022 should prepare for the upcoming tax season. (We will continue regularly sending email reminders about filing taxes and encourage students to sign up for a SprintTax webinar)
| |
If you are employed in the U.S., you are expected to obtain a Social Security Number. Any international student working on campus is eligible to apply for an SSN and should plan to do so within their first month or so of employment.
Please make sure to plan ahead before visiting the Social Security Administration office.
