Upcoming Changes to Student Billing and Payments |
|
|
|
|
Beginning July 23, the university will launch a new student billing system as part of the transition to Banner. Students will begin managing billing information, payments, refunds, and payment plans through the Bursar card in Experience.
To support the transition, online student payment services will be temporarily unavailable from July 21 at 3:00 p.m. through July 22. Students who need to make a payment before the new system launches should do so before July 21. Online payments will resume July 23 through the new process.

What Students Have Been Asked to Do |

Set up Direct Deposit for refunds. Even if Direct Deposit was previously established in myOleMiss, banking information must be entered again because it will not transfer to the new system.

Grant Authorized User access to parents, family members, or guardians who help manage or pay their student account.

Set up Proxy Management if they wish to allow parents or family members to view additional student information, such as financial aid or grades.

- July 21 at 3:00 p.m. – July 22: Online student payment services are temporarily unavailable.

July 23: The new student billing system becomes available via the Experience Bursar card.
- August 1: Fall 2026 billing statements become available.
- August 15: Tuition and fee payment deadline.

|
|
Please encourage students to complete these setup steps before fall billing begins, as this will help avoid refund delays and ensure parents or guardians have the appropriate access before the first billing statement is issued.
If students contact your office with questions about the new billing process, please direct them to the Office of the Bursar at 1-800-891-4596. Additional information about payment plans, tax documents, and other new features will be shared with students as they become available.
