Junior faculty visit Washington
Six junior faculty members were part of a UTA delegation that traveled to Washington, D.C., to make connections within federal agencies and learn about their funding priorities. UTA researchers will now be able to better tailor their grant applications and hopefully be more successful at winning awards from federal funders. UTA is pilot testing this strategy with plans to expand as the program matures.
Behavior intervention referrals
UTA's Behavior Intervention Team (BIT) works to support students of concern by providing support and connections to campus resources. If you are concerned for a student's well-being or if they are in distress, please refer them to BIT. To complete a BIT referral, use our referral form. If you need guidance, support, or training, contact the BIT Case Manager at firstname.lastname@example.org.
