We want to extend our deepest thanks to the Charleston JCC Foundation for their invaluable support in making this year's mishloach manot project a success. Thanks to their generosity, we delivered 120 packages to Jewish Family Services clients, community leaders, and long-standing supporters. In addition, many joined us in hearing the Megillah reading and enjoying a family-style seudah, bringing a true sense of community among AHA families and Charleston's Jewish community. We look forward to continuing to collaborate on future initiatives that bring our community closer together!
A huge thank you to all our amazing parent volunteers and to Mrs. Danielle Blake for leading the charge in making this year’s People of the Book Fair a phenomenal success! Thanks to your support, we have almost reached our fundraising goal - having already raised over $3,500 - and the fun isn’t over yet! There’s still time to shop and discover incredible books for your family. Visit our Book Fair homepage for more details, or visit the Addlestone Auditorium today and tomorrow  morning before this wonderful event comes to a close.
SHOP & SHARE THE FAIR
After a morning of online standardized testing, fourth graders are back to learning in our uniquely engaging environment-measuring angles in both English and Hebrew with protractors, painters tape, and dry-erase markers.  At Addlestone, small class sizes mean each and every student gets the support they need to thrive. Ready to give your child a one-of-a-kind education?
SCHEDULE YOUR TOUR TODAY
Addlestone's Lion's Den Chess Club, under the guidance of AHA graduate, Daniel Varadi, proudly competed in this week's regional SCISA Chess Tournament against top players from independent schools across South Carolina. Leading the team with strong performances, Bob (5th grade) and Gleb (4th grade) each secured 4 wins out of 7 rounds. Cole (1st grade) put up a solid fight, finishing with 3 wins and one draw, while Ariel (2nd grade) won 2 rounds.
Overall, Addlestone finished in 10th place - a strong accomplishment for our dedicated players. Mazel tov to our chess team for their hard work and impressive performance!
Academic excellence looks good in any language!  Our middle school students wrote the book - or rather, the shirt - on Hebrew vocabulary, showcasing the words they’ve mastered this year. From blank tees to full of milim chadashot (new words), they confidently presented their Hebrew knowledge to their classmates. Kol hakavod, middle school!
IS THE CHADASH TRACK RIGHT FOR YOUR MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENT?

We chose to start my son's school experience at AHA because we'd heard it was a great school. We' ve chosen to stay there because it is SO much more than that. It's a community. It's a family. I'll never forget the day I dropped my little guy off for his second week of school (ever) and saw all of these teachers I had never met greeting him by name with huge smiles. Each child at Addlestone is seen and known for the unique little person they are and their education is catered to what works for them. To say we feel lucky to have found Addlestone is a huge understatement.

Are you interested in becoming our next featured family? Please email Danna Cook at danna.cook@addlestone.org with your "AHA Moment," and share the moment you realized Addlestone was home!

Save the Date for the Early Childhood Passover Performance on Wednesday, April 9, at 2:40 PM! Our Tiny Tots through EC4 students will bring the Passover story to life with songs and skits you won’t want to miss. If you have any questions, please contact play director, Miss Gerti. at gertrude.owensby@addlestone.org
Do you know a family who could benefit from the Addlestone Experience? If so, please contact Danna Cook, Director of Admissions, at danna.cook@addlestone.org for more details on our referral incentive program for current families.
March Lunch Menu
We encourage students in kindergarten through eighth grade to bring healthy and nutritious kosher snacks to enjoy during breaks. Please avoid sending candy and other sugary treats to school.

Thank You

Celebrate the legacy of Jewish education and community by dedicating a leaf or dove on the Zucker Family Educational Campus Donor Wall Tree, prominently displayed in the Addlestone Hebrew Academy front atrium. Inspired by the Zucker family, longtime supporters of Addlestone Hebrew Academy and pioneers of Charleston Hebrew Academy, this tree installation symbolizes the values and traditions passed M'Dor V’Dor, from generation to generation. Your dedication is a lasting tribute to honor loved ones, commemorate special moments, and support the future of Jewish learning at Addlestone Hebrew Academy.
