Staff Spotlight: Stephen Doster
This longtime Basic Sciences team member is the ultimate Vanderbilt ambassador.
“Most times I take [inquiring visitors] where they need to go. It’s quicker than trying to explain how to get there, and I get to meet interesting people. I took a father and son visiting from Iowa across campus once. They were scouting medical schools. We ran into Jeff Balser, dean of the medical school, who dropped everything to spend a few minutes with them. Teamwork."
