Join City Council at Tonight's Town Hall

Please join Mayor Nancy McNally, Mayor Pro Tem David DeMott, and the Westminster City Council for a town hall on Thursday, September 21 from 6:30-8 p.m. at Crown Pointe Academy. City Council would like to hear any suggestions or ideas you would like to share and answer questions you want answered.

How to Dispose of Pesky Fall Leaves

It's everybody's least favorite fall chore but it's important to dispose of leaves properly to keep them out of our storm drains. Here are a few helpful tips to keep our waterways clean:

Rake/Blow leaves into a pile, bag them, and then toss them in with your trash.
Compost the leaves. If you don’t have a compost bin at your home, look for upcoming leaf recycling events.
Set your mower to mulch and let the leaves fertilize your lawn naturally. Learn more.

Recognize Someone in the Westminster Community

The Westminster Legacy Foundation Community Award nominations are still open! Do you know someone in the Westminster community that deserves to be recognized? Each year, the Westminster Legacy Foundation honors individuals, groups, businesses, and organizations active in the Westminster community. Nominations are due Sept. 27.

The nominees and winners will be recognized at the 2023 Community Awards Breakfast on November 3. Learn more and submit your nominations.
