Hower House Museum would not exist as we know it today if it were not for Hower House Museum Guild.
A little history of the Guild as we know it today:
The Hower House Museum Guild was formed in 2016/2017, resulting from the merger of two volunteer groups at the HHM: the Friends of Hower House (founded 1974) and the Hower House Victorians (founded 1979).
The Friends of HH saved the mansion from demolition and an uncertain future, raised funds to renovate and restore its former majesty. The Victorians were formed to assist with daily operations and provide tours of the museum.
