Health Program Fair 

Join us for our 8th annual Health Program Fair!

Whether you are searching for a new major, prepping for grad school, or want to see what all the cool equipment in our building does, this is a great place to start. If your family wants to check out where you go to school, there is also plenty for them to enjoy. 

Advisors, faculty, and current students from every program will be present in an open-house style format to answer questions. We will also be doing a never-before-seen demo of the Biomechanics and Motor Performance Lab 👀

If you want GVSU CHP swag and stickers, that will be there too 😉

Looking for a fun, engaging health career using evidence-based, structured leisure activities, such as arts, sports, and community outings, to improve wellbeing?

Direct Care Fundamentals – Level 1 Training

This FREE course is for individuals interested in starting a career in direct care work or those seeking to build on their caregiving experience with additional professional training. The 12-hour virtual course covers essential topics from professional ethics to emergency response.  Students will learn the foundations of person-centered care, professional boundaries, infection control, and other crucial skills needed to provide quality support services.

March is Women's History Month! Did you know that according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, about 8 in 10 workers in healthcare occupations are women?

The CHP is excited to celebrate the contributions and accomplishments of women in the health professions this month and every month. As we strive towards equity, we are highlighting disparities and centering women's voices by sharing their stories this month and every month.
