A current remote work agreement is required for anyone who works remotely or is planning to participate in the flexible summer hours program. Summer remote work agreements are due before Monday, June 5, and the form should be updated every time there is a change to your remote work hours or upon expiration. BF-AS-PR-16 Project Statements for STARs, PUF, and LERR Procedure
This new procedure provides guidance for the completion of monthly reconciliation of academic projects for funds from Science and Technology Acquisition (STARs), Permanent University Funds (PUF), and Library, Equipment, Repair and Rehabilitation (LERR).
GA-A-PO-01 Intercollegiate Athletics Policy
This policy was updated as part of a regularly scheduled five-year review. Updates were made to reflect a change from the Southland Athletic Conference to the Western Athletic Conference. The mission of the athletics program and department goals were added.
GA-LA-PO-04 Handbook of Operating Policies Policy; GA-LA-PR-05 Handbook of Operating Policies Procedure
The policy and procedure were rewritten to align with current practices. The Handbook of Operating Policies committee and policy officer’s role in reviewing policies was added. A new naming process for internal departmental policies, procedures, and forms was explained. The policy and procedure review process was clarified, such as steps for adding a new policy/procedure, amending and reviewing, and retiring a policy/procedure. DocTract, the University’s policy software, was explained, along with the different user roles and the policy/procedure review workflow.
HR-B-PO-01 Employee Tuition Affordability Program Policy; HR-B-PR-01 Employee Tuition Affordability Program Procedure
The policy and procedure titles were changed to “Employee Tuition Affordability Program Policy” and “Employee Tuition Affordability Program Procedure." Updates were made to allow for full-time and part-time employees who have completed at least six months of employment to be eligible for tuition assistance to pursue an undergraduate degree, graduate degree, or job-related courses at UTA that enhance job performance and satisfaction. Full-time employees may take up to six credit hours per semester, while part-time employees may take up to three credit hours per semester. In order to participate in the program, employees must sign an agreement to remain employed by the University for at least one full year after completion of courses or the undergraduate or graduate degree program.
HR-B-PO-06 Eligibility of Retirees for Group Insurance Coverage Policy
This new policy replaces HR-B-PR-08 Eligibility of Retirees for Group Insurance Coverage Procedure. Paragraph section titles were added throughout the document to provide more clarity. Department titles and contact information were updated.
