Partners For Kids Featured in Publication for Care Coordination
In 2021, Partners For Kids leveraged the existing care coordination infrastructure and expertise to launch a team focused on serving the needs of justice-involved youth in Franklin County. An article recently published in “Care Management” highlights the success of this work.

Emily Buckingham, MPA, CHCM, has joined Partners For Kids as the provider relations manager. Emily’s background includes clinical psychological and neuropsychological testing with the pediatric population as a board certified psychometrist, as well as experience with Job and Family Services, and data measurement, management and reporting. Typo in the 2024 Provider Incentive Plan Measures
Provider Relations emailed the 2024 provider incentive plan measures on Friday, December 29, 2023. The first bullet on the cover letter should read “Only the well checks provided to those who had no well check in 2023 will be incentivized (Targeted Annual WCV).” The year in the original document was incorrect.

Upcoming Quarterly Webinar on Pediatric Obesity
Melissa D. King, DO, FAAP, ABOM Diplomat, will focus on pediatric obesity on Thursday, February 15, from noon to 1 p.m. as part of Partners For Kids’ quarterly webinar series. Dr. King is the program director of Healthy Me, a pediatric weight management program at Dayton Children’s Hospital.

Registration Open: ECHO Constipation
Registration is open for Project ECHO Constipation. Participants will earn free CME/CE through this interactive, case-based learning series facilitated by interdisciplinary providers who treat children with constipation. At the end of the four-session series, participants will be able to diagnose constipation, and confidently manage and treat constipation in the primary care setting.

Partners For Kids recognizes that the cost of medication can be a barrier to a patient's ability to obtain medication. To support providers in caring for uninsured and underinsured patients, a resource has been developed to assist in finding the most affordable asthma controller inhalers.
