Video Tip of the Month

Making a First (Online) Impression
Video is a great way to make a first impression, set the tone for your course, and build engagement. Course Welcome and Introduction videos can help give students an idea of what to expect in the course and establish your subject-matter expertise in it. These videos can also help communicate your personality and style to your students.
The Course Navigation video is another great place to show students where to find material in the course, how to submit assignments, find due dates, or how to contact you if they need help. Above everything, BE AUTHENTIC!

The Online Learning Media Studio also has spaces and equipment available for you to produce your course content if your home or office is not ideal. You can contact us through our consultation form to schedule these spaces.
