Robert Shorty, vice president for People, Equity, and Culture, will highlight the meeting with an interactive presentation about the new division and how communicators can share its messaging. Ahead of Grand Valley's Day of Giving on March 20, University Development's annual giving team will share a campaign overview, communications plan and how each area of campus can get involved.

Join us for this informative meeting that will include time for networking. Snacks will be provided. The deadline to register is February 10.

When choosing or taking photographs, try to look for different perspectives: Shooting through things, getting down low, looking down with a drone and/or window or getting in close to your subject. Differing camera perspectives create a more engaging experience for your readers/viewers.

When creating videos for your website or newsletter, remember to focus on brevity. People have short attention spans, so informative videos should be concise and avoid redundancies.
