This semester will be a little different than previous terms if you wish to make a request to change your grades for the Spring semester:
  • The site will open on May 19th and will close at midnight on May 26th

  • You will be limited to selecting only 2 courses

  • Only grades of C-, D+ and D can be requested to change to a Pass

  • Consortium courses (courses taken at Tulane, Xavier, Dillard, Notre Dame) & transfer courses are not eligible

  • The following courses are excluded from your selection: nursing, music therapy, music education (and all music courses & teaching courses for music ed majors)

  • You will make this selection through your LORA portal.  Under student records select the link "Request Pass/Fail Grading".

NOTE: This is for undergraduates only and first 8-week courses are ineligible for the change.

"That's a wrap!"
It’s hard to believe we’ve made it to the end of another spring session. It's even harder to believe that we are slowly making our way to the end of this pandemic. Look back at all of the challenges you’ve overcome since last May. It might’ve been a job change, challenges with loved ones, dealing with loss, enduring natural disasters, or just trying to make it by each day. In spite of that, you’re still here expanding your knowledge and investing in your future. That is truly something worth commending.

As the summer session approaches, we hope you can take time to relax and recuperate with the people you love and examine how much you have overcome in such a short amount of time. There is still much to mourn but there is even more to celebrate. Make sure you are enjoying those little celebrations whenever they come your way. From everyone in the Online Success Office, we wish to congratulate you. We couldn't be more proud of all the things our students have accomplished and will continue to accomplish during their time with Loyola University New Orleans.

“Whatever you are doing, that which makes you feel the most alive...that is where God is."
