Originally from Orford, NH, I grew up surrounded by the game of golf, with a father who was the director of golf at Lake Morey Country Club in Fairlee, Vermont. This early exposure to the sport ignited a lifelong passion and provided a career in the golf industry.

After splitting time in college in the Carolina's and New Hampshire I started expanding skills and experience while working at great golf clubs, including Baltimore Country Club and Bulls Bay Golf Club in Charleston, SC. Most recently, I served as the Director of golf at the newly renovated Waynesville Inn & Golf Club in Waynesville, NC. It was a highlight of my career to grow with this new club, developing a robust tournament schedule, member programming, merchandise, and building the overall culture. I was proud to be instrumental in recruiting the JT Poston Collegiate invitational and the Carolina's Mid-Am championship to the club. Over the last year and half, I was promoted into the General Manager role, overseeing the Hilton branded hotel, restaurant outlets and the golf operations. 

Now, returning to Vermont with my wife, Taylor, and three daughters, Shelby, Dakota, and Madelyn. I especially look forward to returning to a golf focused role as Stowe Country Club’s Head Professional as we start the latest chapter of golf here in Stowe. Our family looks forward to creating new memories and contributing to the local community.

It was a beautiful day on the Mountain Course on Monday and 84 golfers participated in our annual kick off scramble event.

We are excited to embark on a wonderful new chapter of Stowe golf with the opening of SCC. We continue to offer many amazing opportunities for the young golfers in your family, and it remains a priority of our Club to welcome them.

As golf interest and rounds played within our membership grows at Stowe Country Club, expectations around proper etiquette, course care, and proper attire when on property is essential for the experience of our golfing. As such, we are piloting a new program led by Director of Instruction Sue Horton and supported by our PGA Professional team, offering a complimentary Junior Golf Assessment to ensure your youngsters are put in a position to succeed on the golf course this season and beyond.

Simply email Sue or any of our Golf Professionals to make arrangements. If you have fellow member friends, small groups are welcomed. Each session will last ~45 minutes and will cover the above topics and provide a skill evaluation to determine if they are ready to be on the course without parental supervision. Golf courses face numerous challenges when introducing new turfgrass, particularly during the initial grow-in phase, when conditions may not be optimal. While newly renovated areas may appear visually appealing, they likely do not yet possess the resilience needed to withstand heavy traffic and extreme weather. According to the USGA, the best solution is simple: time.

Due to unforeseen repair work, the Men’s and Ladies Healing Lodge Hot Tubs are out of order at this time.  We are hoping to have them back up and running by mid-July.  The outdoor Hot Tubs and One Spruce Peak Hot Tub are available for our members to enjoy.
