New Directions Veterans Choir
Thursday & Friday, November 20 & 21 • 7 pm
The Library Theatre • Hoover Public Library

Founded by former homeless Marine George Hill, New Directions Veterans Choir is an award-winning a cappella group that sings renditions of pop, doo-wop, soul, gospel and Great American Songbook standards. The choir consists of current and former residents of New Directions’ transitional facility who have proudly served in the United States Military and, following their service to our country, became homeless. The choir also includes special guests such as renowned vocalist Michelle Graves, an RN who has cared for this community of veterans for years. New Directions Veterans Choir landed their big break on NBC’s America’s Got Talent and has since performed on The Tonight Show and for members of the United States Congress spreading their message of love, hope and redemption.
