Into The Ryan Pan: iHeartMedia/Oklahoma SVP/Programming J.J. Ryan has added Arkansas, Kansas and Missouri to his oversight. The territories had been overseen in part by SVPP Dave Ashcraft, who exited in August (CAT 8/8), and SVPP Greg Chance, who departed earlier this month (CAT 11/6). Ryan has been with the company for 16 years in Syracuse, Tulsa and Sacramento. He returned to program the Oklahoma City cluster in 2017 and was elevated to SVPP in June of this year (CAT 6/12). KXDD's Cleveland Departs: Stephens Media/Yakima, WA Dir./Promotions and KXDD Double D Morning Show co-host Lindsey Cleveland is leaving the station after 11 years, the last six in mornings (CAT 4/12/18). OM and morning co-host Justin Henriksen is looking for a successor who will, "focus on the here-and-now of our broadcast area, keeping listeners entertained and informed on their morning drive, and then be ready to shift gears and handle the creation and execution of imaginative promotions for all seven of our stations." Officially Opry: Former Ridgeline Hospitality Group owner/principal Gary Scott has joined Opry Entertainment Group (OEG) as COO. Scott has more than 25 years of experience in hospitality operations and asset management with Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and MGM Resorts/The Mirage Hotel & Casino. He will work closely with retiring OEG COO Pete Weien during his transition. OEG assets include the Grand Ole Opry, WSM-AM/Nashville and Nashville's Ryman Auditorium.

Reve-News: Spotify reported revenue of €4 billion (approximately $4.2b) for Q3 2024, up 19% year-to-year. Ad-supported revenue increased 6% to €472 million ($499m). Total monthly average users grew to 640 million, up 11% year-to-year, while premium subscribers increased 12% to 252m. See the complete earnings release here.
Urban One has reported Q3 2024 net revenue of $110.4 million, a decrease of 6.3% from the prior year's $117.8m. The company had an operating loss of $26.2m for the quarter, compared to a loss of $56.1m in the same quarter last year. Adjusted EBITDA was $25.4m, down from $34.7m last year. "On a same station basis our radio division finished Q3 -7.7% excluding political, and -3.6% with political," says CEO/Pres. Alfred C. Liggins, III. See full report here.

Douglas' cuts include "The House That Built Me," "Little Rock," "I Run To You," "Grown Men Don’t Cry" and "Love Me Anyway." Curtis' credits include "I Fought The Law," "Walk Right Back" and "I'm No Stranger To The Rain." Gorley's include "I Had Some Help," "Last Night," "You Should Probably Leave," "Play It Again" and "You’re Gonna Miss This." Eligible voting members have until midnight ET Dec. 22 to turn in ballots with their choices of up to three nominees in each of the songwriter and performing songwriter categories.

Canter started in radio sales in San Diego, followed by nine years in Los Angeles at the Emmis and CBS clusters. Stops at PodcastOne and iHeartMedia/Riverside followed before he moved to his most recent role in 2021 (CAT 8/17/21). No word on services.
