The Institutional Review Board (IRB) has updated its CITI Program Training requirements. Effective 12/31/2026, Group 2 (Non-FDA Regulated Research) will no longer be a mandatory course requirement.
What this means for you:
While this course may no longer be required, the modules remain highly recommended for foundational knowledge. They will continue to be accessible as optional courses for any investigators or staff who wish to complete them.
