We are thrilled to announce new extended hours at West! Our second library location will now stay open until 5pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays! West is open:

Monday: 10am - 7pm

Tuesday: 10am - 5pm

Wednesday: 10am - 5pm

Saturday: 10am - 4pm

We hope to add additional hours in the near future!

Local artist Villa Shurielle is exhibiting her artwork in the library's meeting room this month. A member of the Lakeway Arts Committee, Shurielle is also a children's author, publisher, fashion enthusiast, and arts advocate. All are invited to her reception on Saturday, February 8th from 1pm to 3pm.

We've partnered with local restaurant Hops & Thyme to bring you Silent Book Club! Silent Book Club is a global community of readers and introverts who gather in public to read in quiet camaraderie. All ages are invited and light bites will be provided. Please contact Adult Volunteer Coordinator Mariah for more information.

Medicare Agent and Senior Advisor Martin Frey will discuss Medicare plans, eligibility, enrollment options, and more. Join us to learn about the ABCs and Ds of Medicare! 

The Austin-based duo Eddie Collins and Max Zimmet will team up on acoustic guitar, mandolin, banjo, and vocals, playing standards and originals of bluegrass, classic country, rockabilly, and western swing! Join us for live music at the library sponsored by the Lakeway Civic Corporation.

We are hosting our first event at the library's West location! Stop by West between 2pm and 3pm on Saturday, February 8th for free hot chocolate (while supplies last) from local food truck Southern Snow. West is located at 21209 State Hwy 71 W, Spicewood, TX 78669. We'll see you there!
