PIVOT Pulse Check

Today we present brief updates on PIVOT Track 1 - Academic Program Optimization. Updates on Track 2 - Assessment of Academic Support Units, Centers, Institutes, and Administrative Structures are coming soon.

Progress to Date

The PIVOT Track 1 Self-Study instructions are now available and academic units may begin reviewing their programs using the self-study questions provided.

What We're Working on Now

While most key metrics to inform (Track 1) academic program self-studies can be found in the Gray DI system, we are still working on fully integrating this data with the other internal metrics that comprise our planned Program Vitality Reports. As soon as this is complete, academic units will receive their reports, which will further support self-study responses.

What's Next

Beginning next week, PSU data experts will provide frequent office hours and group meeting opportunities for academic unit leaders and programs’ designated points of contact to receive support with reviewing their data. Information on signing up for this support will be shared with academic units in the next few days.

Each program’s designated point of contact will submit their self-study responses on behalf of the program by November 19, 2025.
