The RCN Contract Activities Worksheet is available on the RCN Application and Contract Forms page. The form must be completed, and a copy submitted to your START RCN Representative or by email to the START office at autismed@gvsu.edu no later than October 27, 2023.

Please submit the online form for the K-12 Focus Student data by November 3, 2023. A reminder to also complete baseline CETAs and to set the goals by January 1, 2023. 

The iQuest (independence Quest), which is an updated version of the Passport, is now available! If you are interested in renewing your Passport, we have made some revisions we want to share with you. We hope this new version will inspire you, your child, or your student on a Quest toward independence!

The first webinar in the T3 series is on Monday, October 30, 2023, and is focused on Empowering Students: It's My Choice: Embedding Dignity of Risk into the Transition Planning Process. 

We will discuss the importance of dignity of risk and how to embed dignity of risk into transition programming to support improved student outcomes.

The 2023-2024 Early Childhood Training Series schedule is now available on the START website. 

The series will include several two-hour modules focused on a wide range of topics to strengthen the use of evidence-based practices in all types of classrooms supporting young children with higher support needs.

Each training module will be offered independently so that participants may sign up for any of the sessions. SCECHs will be available. Registration and more information will be available in November.

 The Statewide Autism Resources and Training (START) Project is funded by the Michigan Department of Education, Office of Special Education to provide training and technical assistance to educators in Michigan that serve students with ASD.
