MyIUP Update: Final Switchover May 28 |
The switchover to the new portal will occur on May 28. On that day, the portal at my.iup.edu will go offline and redirect visitors to the new portal. The new portal is customizable; you can add and remove "cards" to your Dashboard. It has a built-in search tool (Discover), so no more scrolling through long pages for links. If you haven't tried the new portal yet, you can access it and learn more at www.iup.edu/myiup.

I’m Considering Taking a Class at Another Institution Over the Summer. How Do I Make Sure My Credits Will Apply at IUP? |
It is important to apply for pre-approval to transfer your credits back to IUP! Follow these three steps:
1.) Talk to your advisor about possible courses to take.
2.) Visit the Online Transfer Credit Equivalency System to determine which class or classes from the outside institution may transfer to IUP.
3.) Complete an electronic Application for Pre-Approval of Coursework.
Remember – only the credits earned transfer back to IUP, not the grade!
Your Navigator can help you once you have talked to your advisor about what courses you might take. If you are enrolled in a summer class through IUP, know that your Navigator is here to help you throughout the summer as well. Reach out if you need tutoring or other assistance!

It takes roughly seven seconds to make a first impression, so you want to make sure you make it count. Some easy things to do are: have a good handshake, repeat the other person's name, look them in the eye, and smile!
First impressions can happen anytime and anywhere - during an interview, at a networking event, or even when you're out and about. Use this summer to continue to build your professional network and make positive impressions - it might just pay off sooner than you'd imagine!

On Monday, May 6, from 10:30 p.m. to midnight, IUP celebrity servers will serve late-night pancakes at North Dining. All students are welcome—free of charge, whether or not they have a meal plan.
