It is also helpful to set goals at the beginning of each semester to stay focused, motivated, and on track with academic and personal responsibilities.

Classes start on Monday, August 26, and there is no better way to start the semester energized than heading to the STATIC Lounge for a free AJ energy drink! STATIC is hosting an Aroma Joe’s (AJ) Pop-Up on Monday through Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. until supplies run out, so stop by the HUB to start the semester wide awake.

Join STATIC for their first event of the semester! The event, happening on Thursday, August 29, from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. will feature food trucks, Co-op Store exclusive flash sales, trivia (with prizes), intramural and fitness center challenges, a bowl-a-strike competition in the new STATIC lounge, a scavenger bingo card hunt, etc. Free food and great prizes await!

This is a reminder to stay healthy this semester and avoid getting respiratory illness by washing your hands often, avoiding close contact with anyone exhibiting respiratory symptoms, eating a balanced diet, and getting plenty of rest. If you do develop respiratory symptoms, rest and treat them. If you need to go out, wear a well-fitting mask around others. Once your symptoms improve and you do not have a fever for 24 hours, you can resume normal activities; remember to wear a mask around others for five days.
