Three and out

New year, same harp.  And that's a good thing.
I've been playing, and enjoying, the Hohner Marine Band Model 1896 for more than 45 years. I've been a Hohner endorser since the mid-1990s.  Some would probably call me hidebound, unimaginative, stuck in my ways.  OK, Boomer!  Out with the old, in with the new.
Then again, in a time when the world seems to be engaging in one revolution or another every time you turn on the TV, or your laptop, or your cell phone, or your smartphone, or your fully-wired car....maybe a little stability in the material and brand realm is a virtue, not a shortcoming.
It's my New Year's Day, and yours, so I'll keep this short.
Below you'll find a new video designed for raw beginners, plus two other recent vids you may have missed.  Many of you are NOT raw beginners; some of you have been with me since my own raw beginning as a YouTube uploader back in 2007.  (Remember "Yes we can!"  I debuted a year before that.)  I hope you enjoy this latest foray into trying to share the joys of our instrument, starting with the head to James Cotton's "Creeper Creeps Again."
And if you're a new newbie:  welcome to our world.  I began almost 15 years ago with you in mind, and I'm still trying to honor your concerns.  You've got a particular angle of vision on this blues harmonica thing that I don't just value but share.  Keep that beginner's mind alive.

We've got blackeye peas to eat and Ole Miss @ the Sugar Bowl, so I'm out of here.
Later,
AG
