Dear students,
A HUGE thank you to everyone who showed up for last week's Bricks to Stone celebration. The rain held off, and it was the perfect way to honor our first-year students' transition to West Campus. We loved attending the Quad parties after the pinning ceremony and seeing each Quad’s unique personality shine through.
As we enter these final weeks together on campus (LDOC is next week!!), we want to encourage you to finish the semester strong. There's so much ahead that we get to celebrate, from affinity graduations to awards ceremonies — all leading up to Commencement Day on May 14!
We know that the home stretch of the school year can be an overwhelming mix of excitement and apprehension. If you need to talk to someone for any reason, we have staff members here to support you and celebrate you. You can find all campus resources on our Get Assistance page, which is now at the bottom of every newsletter we send.
Don't worry, this isn't the last you hear from us before summer break. We've still got one more newsletter, so look for that during finals week. In the meantime, best of luck wrapping up your classes. You've got this!
Go Duke,
Mary Pat McMahon, Vice Provost of Student Affairs

Seniors, you can win a $25 gift card!

If you're graduating in a few weeks, you should have received an email to participate in our annual Senior SurveyThis survey provides you with an opportunity to reflect on the entirety of your Duke experience, both inside and outside the classroom. We rely on the results of this survey to help us understand how to make Duke a better place, and we would be grateful to hear from the Class of 2023.
If you didn't receive an email — or if you have questions about the survey — reach out to david.jamieson.drake@duke.edu.

As a token of our appreciation for your participation, you will be entered into a drawing to win a $25 Amazon e-gift card, and we will let you know if you are one of 120 lucky winners when the survey is closed.

Be vigilant for scammers!

It has been brought to our attention that Duke parents have received calls from individuals fraudulently identifying themselves as Duke Police officers and soliciting money from parents. The caller states that the student has been arrested and then instructs the parents to pay bail through CashApp, Venmo, or Zelle. The caller has been using a phone number and/or caller ID that makes the number they are calling from appear to be Duke Police.
Please be advised that Duke Police will never call and ask for bail money. Anyone with additional information should contact Duke Police's non-emergency line: 919-684-2444.
