Bishop Reuben Saenz, Jr., to Visit Georgetown |
Saturday, November 18, at 10:00 AM |
|
|
The bishop of the Central and North Texas Conferences of the UMC, Bishop Reuben Saenz, Jr., has scheduled a visit with all clergy and laity of the South District (in which Wellspring is located). The gathering will be at First United Methodist Church of Georgetown, located at 410 E. University Avenue). The gathering is Saturday, November 18, from 10:00 AM - 12:00 noon. Many have heard Pastor Jeff refer to Bishop Saenz and the difference he is making in our conference and our denomination. This is an opportunity to meet him in person and hear about his vision for the United Methodist Church.

United Methodist (UM) Student Day is one of six churchwide Special Sundays with offerings of The United Methodist Church. UM Student Day calls the church to support students as they prepare for life in uniting faith with knowledge. The special offering provides scholarships for which our own Wellspring students can apply!
To give, indicate "UM Student Day" on your gift. Thank you for investing in the next generation of disciples!

Could You Benefit from Grief Care? |
Grief Support Group Meets Every Monday! |
As we enter the holiday season, you may be surprised to find yourself grieving old losses or missing loved ones that you thought were finally “over” grieving. We know that we are never truly “over” grief. We have learned to move forward and incorporate our grief into our life. No matter where you are on your grief journey, you are welcome to join our Grief Support Group which meets every Monday at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel. If you would like more information, contact Beverly Smythia at bsmythia@gmail.com or 409-351-8332.

A Prayground is coming to the Wellspring Sanctuary!
What is a Prayground? A “Prayground” is a space within the sanctuary where children can experience worship through play and age-appropriate worship materials. Our Prayground will be located toward the front of the sanctuary (on the nursery side) so that children can see and hear throughout worship. Praygrounds encourage families to worship together, as children remain in worship throughout the entire service.

Support the Prayground by purchasing items from our wish list: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1RDSRN2RZJEX5?ref_=wl_share
