Welcome SUU's New Alumni President
Our new alumni president earned a bachelor's degree in business administration and finance in 1996, and, as a student, was engaged in a variety of extracurricular activities including SUUSA, Alpha Phi, PBL and the Student Alumni Association. Her impressive career includes work with Verizon, Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Organizing Committee, Starbucks, Event Knowledge Services and SPORTFIVE. Welcome, Jamie!

2025 Alumni T-Shirt is Ready for Pre-Sale
Our 2025 Alumni T-Shirt is ready for pre-sale with a suggested donation of $10. We are happy to ship your T-shirt and have it arrive just in time for Homecoming. If you live in the Cedar City area, please plan to pick up your T-shirt at our office inside the R. Haze Hunter Alumni Center. Pre-sale order deadline is Friday, September 12th.

Making an Impact on Regional and State Economy
A recent report from the Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute, commissioned by the Utah System of Higher Education, details SUU's significant regional and statewide economic contribution. SUU supports 5,000 jobs, $202 million in earnings, $298 million in gross domestic product and $513 million in output (total sales) regionwide.

Danielle Jensen Named Volleyball Coach
A proven winner and program builder, new Head Coach Danielle Jensen brings a legacy of national tournament appearances, along with a new passion for student-athlete development, to our Thunderbirds volleyball program. Danielle comes to SUU from Utah State Eastern after a 10-year tenure where she compiled a 190-88 record and turned the Eagles into a perennial powerhouse in the NJCAA ranks.

In today's college football landscape, it is rare to see teammates stay together for four years let alone as roommates, best friends, and key contributors to the same defense. But that is exactly what Raymon Crump (#12) and Josh Dunn (#8) have done, and they are well-prepared for their final season at Southern Utah University.
