Know Before You Go: Tailgating rules for Hornet football game days
Tailgating is a proud Sac State tradition, but it’s important to celebrate responsibly. Alcohol and drug policies will be strictly enforced, and violations can result in loss of tailgating privileges, citations, arrest, or student conduct action. Tailgating may begin up to 4 hours before the game and must end 30 minutes prior to kickoff. Know the rules before you go, and keep tailgating fun, safe, and positive for everyone!
