This event is an enriching experience, offering valuable insights into military life, service, and the broader implications of being a veteran or current military member. Faculty and ROTC cadre will answer attendees’ questions and share stories about their extensive military careers. All are encouraged to attend on Wednesday, November 6, at 6:00 p.m. in Leonard Hall, B03. Light refreshments will be provided.

Back by popular demand, the Women in Power Panel is back with new and returning faces. Climbing the ladder of success can create challenges for women. Join us as several women connected to the IUP community share their journey and provide insights on how to help other women achieve success.
The panel includes Miko Rose, founding dean of the proposed IUP college of osteopathic medicine; Amber Racchini, vice provost for Academic Success; and Elise Glenn, chief diversity and inclusion officer/Title IX coordinator. All are welcome to attend on Tuesday, November 7, at 4:00 p.m. in Leonard Hall, Room 216.

The curriculum of Voice Education has long been dominated by Western European schools of thought and the culminating repertoire. The focus of this presentation is to introduce Colombian Art Song into the studio and have an honest and nuanced discussion of how colonialism on the South American continent influenced the musical output of its musicians and composers. All are invited to this Lunch & Learn on Wednesday, November 6, at 11:15 a.m. in the Elkin Hall Great Room. Lunch will be provided.
