Making Space for Everyone at Munford

When Munford High School Theatre lost its performance space less than two weeks before their winter musical, Munford First United Methodist Church opened its doors. Rev. Will Clark and the congregation welcomed students, props, and audiences into an unused worship space. Members with no prior connection to the program began stopping by to help, to cheer, and to attend.

What began as an emergency solution has since grown into a standing agreement, with Munford FUMC committing to host performances in the year ahead. It is a living witness to what it means to offer the love of Christ to the community.

Both of the congregation's remaining charter members were in attendance alongside current and former pastors. Looking to the future, the congregation shared a vision that includes facility improvements and the construction of a library in Ghana.
