As the first AVC for Graduate Affairs at UCSB, Dr. Jones is committed to fostering a positive climate for faculty and graduate students while also navigating pressing issues in graduate education like securing funding for graduate students, addressing declining enrollments, right-sizing graduate programs, integrating law-aligned policies for diversity, equity, and inclusion, and improving the socio-emotional climate and wellbeing for graduate students.

Chandra Krintz is a Professor of Computer Science at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) and co-founder and Chief Scientist of AppScale Systems, Inc. She joined the UCSB faculty in 2001 after receiving her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). 

Robert Hamm, Ph.D., serves as Assistant Dean and Chief of Staff for the Graduate Division at UC Santa Barbara. He oversees division-wide operations, student support services, budget strategy, compliance, and systems infrastructure across the University's graduate programs.

Anna provides strategic oversight of the Professional Development Unit and the Graduate Student Resource Center (GSRC), ensuring its programs and services align with graduate student needs and the Grad Success Roadmap. 

Ryan provides academic counseling, student support, and advocacy for graduate students. He can help students navigate academic challenges, develop strategies for work-life balance, and connect with resources.

Kelly is a campus resource for graduate fellowships and recruitment offers. She can provide guidance on fellowship policies and procedures, including questions about fellowship awards, funding, and the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP).

Maya provides career counseling for graduate students. She can help students explore career options, review job application materials, and learn about graduate student internship opportunities.
